How To Use OurWitness

Become a Reporter!

Share with us stories of what God is doing in your life and in your city. You can sign up to be a Reporter for free.

• Simply click the “Login” button on the top right hand corner
• Click “Register”.
• Fill in the details or sign up with Facebook or Twitter.
• Don’t forget to set your location on the map to let people know where you’re from.
• Click “Complete Sign Up”

You’re ready to go! You can share your stories, follow and chat with other reporters, vote up posts and much more.

Don’t forget to update your profile from “My Account”.

Share Your Story

We (and the rest of the world) want to hear your story.

After signing up, simply click on the “Post” button on the top right corner to submit your story and we may post it on the site and share it with our readers! You can even share with us a video via Youtube or Vimeo.

On each post, there are links to share on Facebook, tweet it on Twitter or post it on Google+.

You can also “vote” it up. On the feed, just simply click this icon. 

This will not only vote it up for more to see, but will also save it as a “Favorite” in your account for you to see or share later.

What Else Can I Do As a Member?

Besides being able to send us your story or voting up different posts, there’s a bunch of other great benefits for being signing up such as:

• You can meet and follow specific Editors from each city or other Reporters on OurWitness.
• Send one another both private and public messages.
• Share status updates with the world or to just your friends. You choose how “public” it is.

You can do all this by clicking “My Account” on the top right hand corner. So, update your profile right away after signing up.
